NU Library's Guide to Printing From Your Mobile Device

One-Time Setup - Android Device

  • Make sure you are connected to the campus PurpleHaze wifi network
  • Install the Mobility Print app from the Google Play Store.
  • Launch Mobility Print
  • Tap the settings shown to ensure that they are enabled

  • Exit from the app and go to the app you want to print from.

See below for how to print from different apps, and then "Finish Printing" at the bottom.

Printing from Chrome Browser in Android

  • Select the three dots at the top right to get the menu

 

  • Tap Share

 

  • You should see a list of apps to share with. Swipe the bottom list to show what's on the right...

  • ...until you see the option to Print. Tap that.

Printing from Adobe Acrobat in Android

  • Select the three dots at the top right to get to the menu

  • If you don't see the Print option, scroll down the list.

  • Then tap Print

Finish Printing

  • Look for the printer called HOLD-QUEUE. If this is not displayed as the printer name at the top, click the arrow:

  • If HOLD-QUEUE doesn't appear in the printer list, tap All printers:

  • Then tap HOLD-QUEUE:

  • On the Print Preview screen, tap the blue printer icon:

  • If a message asks if you want to use Mobility Print, tap OK

  • A message may come up asking for authentication. Tap the message.
