Citation Searching

Citation searching is a method of finding relevant research by looking at what a publication has referenced and what has referenced it in turn. It's also known as cited reference searching.

To perform a citation search, you can:

  1. Identify a key publication, such as a book, article, or author.
  2. Look at the references in the publication's bibliography.
  3. Look at other publications that cite the key publication.
