Faculty Guide to Library Instruction

This guide will introduce you to options available to incorporate information literacy instruction into your courses.

Introduction to Instructional Videos

Ways to use these videos:

  • show them in class
  • assign them to be viewed outside of class
  • embed them into your online class. Click the video title to be taken to its page, then click Share and Embed to get the embed code.

All of these videos are available on NU Library's YouTube channel, so you may want to subscribe/follow to always know about the latest videos as they are uploaded.

All videos have closed captions available - just click the "CC" icon when the video starts playing.

We are happy to create instructional videos customized to your needs! Just email Lucy Bell to discuss your request.

Some of these videos are also embedded into our FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) which your students may also find helpful.
