Welcome to Niagara University Library

Niagara University welcomes alumni and community members to use the Library.

The following services are available to you:

  • Access to the building during staffed hours.
  • Computer use
  • General research assistance
  • Library database access while on campus.
  • Printing, scanning, and photocopying
    • Charges may apply
  • Spaces for work and study.
    • Group study rooms are reserved for current NU student use only.

Borrowing Library Materials

To borrow Library materials, you can obtain a Courtesy Card at our Service Desk during staffed hours.

If you would like to save a little time, you can print and fill out the Courtesy Card Application before coming in.

Alumni and Courtesy Card user borrowing rules:

  • 10 Books
    • 30 day borrowing period
  • 5 DVDs
    • 7 days for new releases (main floor)
    • 30 days feature and educational DVDs (second floor)
  • 3 Reserve Items
    • 2 hours - items may not be removed from the library

 

Database Use

Alumni and Community Users may access Library databases on campus only. 

  • Off-campus access is limited to current NU faculty, staff, and students

Parking

The Library is located on the south end of the campus. The parking lot for Dwyer Arena is the closest public lot to the Library. Public parking at the Castellani Art Gallery is limited to museum visitors.

Free parking passes are available at the Campus Safety Office. Please be sure to follow campus parking rules and regulations.
