The policies of the Niagara University Library

Niagara University Faculty, Staff, and Student Access

The primary function of Niagara University Library is to provide materials, access to computers, and study space to the students, faculty, and staff of Niagara University. As a private institution, Niagara University Library reserves the right to restrict any and all services to currently enrolled students and employees.

 

If you are not a currently enrolled student or current employee of Niagara University, then you are considered to be a Community Patron of the Library. Please refer to the information for Alumni and Community Patrons to discover access and borrowing policies.

 

Services Available

The Niagara University community is comprised of current faculty, staff and students.

The following services are available for your use:

  • Access to the library during staffed and unstaffed hours
  • Borrowing of materials from the Library
  • Computer, printing, limited lamination, faxing, and other technology use
  • Research assistance from librarians
    • research appointments
    • quick and extended research inquiries
  • On and off-campus use of databases and electronic resources
    • PurplePass login is required for off-campus access
  • Study room access and reservations
  • Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
