Faculty Guide to Library Instruction : Active Learning Modules

This guide will introduce you to options available to incorporate information literacy instruction into your courses.

Introduction Active Learning Modules

Point your students to the best resources and databases for their assignments.

If you are interested in requiring students to complete our interactive tutorials for credit, please contact Melissa Langridge with the following information:

  • Tutorial(s) assigned
  • Due date for completion

Note: Please anticipate the results within two weeks from the due date. Don't want to wait? Each tutorial contains a final quiz. Simply have your student email/print their Certificate of Completion to keep for your records.

Start a conversation with your liaison librarian about librarian-built online research guides, subject-specific or course-specific, that link to major databases, research tips, and key library contacts. You can ask your liaison librarian to customize these for you and include any of these tutorials as well.

Don't see what you want listed? Please do not hesitate to request a specific tutorial based or your students' needs.
